How do you treat an infected cuticle without having to go to the doctor?

You soak it in warm-hot water (not so hot it burns your skin) for about 30 minutes and then gently pull the skin away from the nail. It will usually break open and the pus will come out and it will start to heal. You may have to do this a couple of times a day for 2-3 days before it is in the healing stage. How do you treat an infected cuticle without having to go to the doctor?
Soak it in epsom salt and warm water. If you can see puss then squeeze it out. Then soak it some more. Then coat the whole thing with Polysporin and bandage it. Do this a couple of times a day. But if it starts to look really red then go to a dr. A blood infection is serious. How do you treat an infected cuticle without having to go to the doctor?
