Cuticle clippers and and orange stick?

I got a manicure set for Christmas and I'm not entirely sure what all the stuff is there for.

Cuticle clippers I can pretty much guess, but do you literally rip your cuticles off? lol!

And an 'orange stick' what the hell is that for?

I'm really only just getting into this girly stuff :PCuticle clippers and and orange stick?
Here's how to use them...

Soak your nails in warm soap water - to soften your cuticles, for about 2-3 mins. Get the orange stick, with the pointy end, gently push your cuticles back - so that they are lifted up.

Then get your cuticle scissors, and gently start cutting the ends of your cuticles off. Not too much - cause you could hurt yourself....

Good luck....Cuticle clippers and and orange stick?
Don't cut your cuticles off! You might get an infection that way. If you have a little hang-nail, or a cuticle piece on the side, the clippers can be used. But don't cut your cuticles of they are not hanging off.

The round sharp end of the stick can be used to clean underneath your nails, and the flat side of the orange stick is to push back your cuticles. Put the flat side against your nail and gently nudge them back.
Leave the cuticles alone - use a liquid cuticle remover instead (Sally hansen do a good one) but clipping them is a big nono. All an orange stick does is push softened cuticles back, or wrapped with a touch of cotton wool, clean up nail polish.
the orange stick is to push back the cuticle's after applying cuticle remover then you clip the cuticle's off gently with the cuticle clipper's i onlt know this as i'm a beauty therapist.
it is used to push back your cuticles. and i agree you dont need to cut your cuticles.
the orange stick is too push the cuticles back with.

i don't really know the rest .
