In plants, is a cuticle a type of plant tissue?

umm. yes i think so.In plants, is a cuticle a type of plant tissue?
Technically speaking no. A tissue is defined as a group of cells working together for a function. The cuticle is the waxy coating on the epidermis of plant leaves and or stems. Leaves, stems, roots, or vascular bundles (xylem, or phloem) are tissue types. In biology the heirarchy of an organism is cells, tissues, organs, organ systems... etc. The cuticle is there to protect the cells from heat, cold, excessive mositure loss, etc.In plants, is a cuticle a type of plant tissue?
Yes

Everything on the planet is either animal, vegetable or mineral.

It is not animal, nor is it mineral. Logically then it MUST be a plant product!!!!
