What does the little curve of white on your nail that is near your cuticle mean?

I have seen some people with it just on their thumbs and some on all of their fingers. What does it really mean? Is it really a lack of nutrients or what?What does the little curve of white on your nail that is near your cuticle mean?
Im pretty sure its called a moon crest. Its better too have one than not too. But they usually indicate good health atlthough they aren't very reliable sourceWhat does the little curve of white on your nail that is near your cuticle mean?
it is called the lunula and it is the visible part of the nail matrix , the matrix is the portion of the nail unit that new nail grows from, it is normal to see the lunula.
Calcium Deposits.
i think its the pressure of the nail on the skin
it doesnt mean anything !!!
I dunno *scratches head*.U jus gav me somthin 2 think about.
